This report by the Centre for Towns for the European Climate Foundation finds that despite a growing electoral divide between towns and cities, there are many areas of broad consensus on environmental issues and even signs the divide may be shrinking. Some points of difference remain, however, and will require a policy agenda that seeks to build support on environmental issues through recognising the distinct priorities, day-to-day experiences and values of people residing in different areas.
